Does my article have to be through a feminist lens?
No! However, to support gender fairness and bring diverse views to International Relations, The Women’s Journal of International Relations requires that at least 25% of sources in articles be written by women.

Can men publish?
Yes, men may publish in The Women’s Journal of International Relations. Our mission is to elevate underrepresented voices, especially women and gender minorities. We welcome thoughtful, respectful contributions from all who advance discussions on gender, diplomacy, and international affairs. Submissions are judged by scholarship quality, relevance, and contribution to IR dialogue, aiming to foster diversity while emphasizing marginalized perspectives.
