Contributor Guidelines
We welcome submissions that advance critical, feminist, and inclusive perspectives on international relations, diplomacy, and global politics. Our goal is to amplify voices that challenge dominant narratives and open space for diverse, rigorous, and accessible scholarship.
What We Publish
Research articles, essays, commentaries, and reviews related to feminist IR, diplomacy, security, political economy, and global governance.
Accessible, well-argued, and original pieces that bridge academic, policy, and activist communities.
Writing that centers inclusivity, avoids exclusionary jargon, and engages constructively with global debates.
Submission Requirements
Length: 1,500 – 6,000 words (exceptions considered).
Citations: Use [Chicago/APA]. Sources must be properly referenced.
Diversity of Sources: At least 30% of citations must be from female-identifying authors. Additionally, you must include at least three scholarly sources per 1,000 words.
Originality: Submissions must be unpublished and not under review elsewhere.
Tone: Respectful, inclusive, and free of misogynistic, racist, or otherwise hateful language.

Contributors retain full rights to their work.
By submitting, you agree that The Glassed Diplomat / TWJIR retains the right to remove your work from publication at any time (e.g., for ethical concerns, plagiarism, or harmful content).
We do not accept work that undermines our mission of feminist, inclusive scholarship.
